SHINE stands for Support, Help, Inspire, Nurture and Encourage. SHINE is birthed out of a desire to offer a “safe” place for mums to meet together and share the highs and lows of parenting, while gaining valuable insights from both recourses and the experience of other mums to equip them in being the best possible mums they can.

As mums, we have lots of dreams for our families – and the influence to make them come true!  But it’s hard to balance the widening gap between dreams and reality.  SHINE is a unique group that is designed for mums with children of all ages.

Childcare is provided for pre-school aged children of SHINE mums who have their own program called STARS which stands for Super, Terrific, Awesome, Resilient and Sensational, so unlike playgroup when mums come to SHINE they take their children out to the STARS program where they do craft activities, play, sing and read stories, morning tea is also supplied for the children.

So while our STARS and are being lovingly cared for, mums SHINE and have an opportunity to have some much deserved (and needed), time out, as we have a HOT cuppa and adult conversation without having our little ones tug at our legs!

When we as mums SHINE our children will be STARS.
